As the title suggests I need some help with advice for upping my score on the beep test, as well as cutting some time off my 10k. I have an assignment to do in my gym class to improve my running, and I have 7 weeks to do it. I did the beep test today and scored a 12.0.
You might hear about two types of test: the Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test and the Yo-Yo Intermittent Endurance test. The Entry Physical Competency Assessment is required to evaluate what applicants are capable of. The tests include three exercises: The beep test - A score is required for 6.5 and above. Push-up test – Males at least 15 push-ups, females 8 push-ups – no time frame. Phased Sit-ups – Level 4 score and above.
